Our Winter Rhythm

It happens every February, the Groundhog appears from his hole, and the children at HCMA become the most independent learners in town!  The children are working hard, perfecting their letter sounds and handwriting, learning to read cvc words and count to 100!  The winter weather pushes us inside for more time than we particularly like, but we use that time to perfect our 'academic' skills!  Longer days and warmer weather are just around the corner and we'll return outside for more of our day, but right now we are enjoying this winter rhythm, being artist, and writers, mathematicians and naturalist!
