Story Time in the Library Addition!

Friday afternoon found us in the new children's room at Minot Sleeper Library!  As you can see there is still a lot of work to be done there, but it is well on its way and we are so excited about it!

Jeff Downing of CCI read the children Mike Mulligan and the Steam Shovel by Virginia Burton.  Jeff did a wonderful job reading and keeping everyone's attention in a very difficult venue!  Jeff and his children passed out yellow hard hats to all the children and a one dollar bill for each of their piggy banks, all compliments of CCI.

After the reading the children had an opportunity to climb on and check out some of the equipment that is being used on the job.  

We look forward to our weekly trips to the library just to see what is going on on the construction site!  They are moving quickly and they tell us that we will be in our new children's room by February.  Thank you to the town's people of Bristol for voting in this wonderful library expansion and thank you to CCI for working so hard to get it ready for us!
