Mapping Our Community Day!

We kicked off our mapping unit on Friday by taking a walk around town, snapping pictures of important places.  After we print out the pictures, we will make a map of our town!  We also saw a few folks on the journey who keep our community going.  We saw Ken from the water department flushing out hydrants, we saw another town worker marking the grates with paint.  We also saw a dad busy working on a construction project.  All important roles of folks in our community!
