Cardigan Mountain Apple Orchard

We had another wonderful trip to the Cardigan Mountain Apple Orchard (read here about last year's trip).  The Bleilor family was again so gracious to host us on a Friday before one of the busiest weekends of the year.  Mrs. Bleilor and her family greeted us and asked us to make ourselves at home while having our school pictures taken in the orchard and then met us later for a tour of the orchard followed by a bit of apple picking!  

We finished our day with a few stories up on the ledge and an opportunity for the children to do some leaf rubbings, drawings, climbing, sorting, and playing!  A very special thank you to Mrs. Bleilor for sending us each home with a bag of apples of our own.  We are forever thankful for the time we are able to spend in one of Newfound's most beautiful places.  Thank you Bleilors!!
